Sometimes you have to practice your italic. Done with a Pilot parallel pen and Calli acrylic ink.

Nice work...tell me do the acrylics block up the parallel pen or they work fine with it ??

The calli ink works surprisingly well...I once did an entire envelope job using Calli ink through a Schaeffer pen and it never clogged.

Yousuf, I use acrylic ink (usually FW acrylics) all the time in my parallel pens. You need to be a bit more careful to always cap the pen so the ink doesn't dry and clog. If I'm not using a pen for a long while (say, several weeks), then I rinse it out. And I avoid the FW pearlescents, as they will clog the pen. Even then, a good cleaning with diluted glass cleaner (one that contains ammonia) works wonders.

But otherwise, I've had great success with acrylic in my parallel pen.

Hope you don't mind me answering your question on Dave's blog!

I think Alice is right...it can dry on the nib but is easily fixed with a bit of moisture...
